Jauma Farm acknowledges that we live and work on Traditional Peramangk Land. We pay respect to the custodians of this beautiful and ancient country, the Peramangk and Kaurna peoples, and recognise their ongoing, deep spiritual connection to this country, its plant life, wildlife, and waterways. We give honour, reverence and respect to elders past, present and emerging, and recognise sovereignty was never ceded.
Jauma is a certified organic farm located in the wild hills of so called Adelaide, cared for by James and Sophie Erskine, with Danby, Audrey and Ojas. We produce natural wine and cider, grow vines, veggies, fruits and beautiful cherries. We love welcoming community to this place through yoga and meditation retreats, wine and cherry picking events and community gatherings.
We endeavour to explore the possibilities and time-tested practices of regenerative organic farming, seeking to cultivate biodiversity of life in both plant and soil, strengthening our farming systems and environmental sustainability for future generations. We seek to work alongside Mother Nature to support her inherent strength, resilience and healing capacity, so that our community, and the earth that we are a part of, can thrive together.
