A community festival on Peramangk Country
JaumaFest is a grassroots festival created in 2021 by us, James and Sophie Erskine.
JaumaFest evolved from our wish of offering a nature immersion experience, building relationship to land and food source, and creating space for community inclusion and connection.
We believe community resilience and collaboration is central to building a sustainable future.
It is our hope that JaumaFest offers space to connect people from far and wide in support of local arts, music, farmers and producers, held with deep respect for the traditional custodians of Peramangk Country, and their ongoing relationship to this land we gather on.
Join us each December for this wonderful gathering, bring your friends and family and meet some amazing people.
Collect your season's cherries from our certified organic orchard, then chill out on the hill and listen to amazing live music with a glass or two of cold fizzy natural wine.
Bring a picnic rug and some snacks, and enjoy.
Pick-your-own cherries — all grown organically here on our Adelaide Hills farm.
Live music & DJs all weekend — get your dancing shoes on and enjoy an incredible line-up of artists in the outdoor festival amphitheatre.
Jauma Wine Bar & Uraidla Brewery Beer.
Christmas Markets — find some treasures from local creatives and makers.
Local food vendors and picnic — grab something delicious from our food trucks or bring your own picnic (food only, no BYO alcohol).
Yoga — a beautiful way to begin your festival; gentle movement, breath and meditation, with local community group Forest Range Yoga.
Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony — we acknowledge the Peramangk and Kaurna peoples as traditional custodians of the land we gather on for JaumaFest. This is a very special and important part of Jaumafest, and we encourage everyone to be present.
Fairygarten and kid's workshops, with a guest appearance from Santa!
Saturday & Sunday 16/17 December 2023
JaumaFest is held at our NASAA Certified Organic Lenswood farm, where we grow 10 varieties of organic cherries.
