Yoga & retreats
Join us for seasonal day-long wellness retreats here at Jauma Farm. Gentle yoga, nature immersion, guided meditations, organic food, seasonal rituals, community gathering.

Farm retreats
Our day-long Wellness Retreats are grounded in experiences of self care, community and connection to the land. Hosted by James & Sophie Erskine at our organic farm on forty acres of hillside country, each retreat weaves together yoga practice, meditation, forest bathing, nature immersions, and soulful conversations that invite reflection, philosophy and presence.

Retreat offers space to slow down, reconnect with nature, and share meaningful moments with like-minded humans. Eat organic, seasonal shared meals from the garden; walk, stretch, breathe and rest to nurture body and mind; and conclude the day with a cellar door wine tasting to nourish the senses, and celebrate the beauty of gathering.

Your Facilitators

James and Sophie have been guiding yoga classes and retreats over the past 6 years at Jauma Farm, and holding regular community practices at the Forest Range Hall.

Sophie Erskine
Sophie's yoga teaching journey began in 2017 with trainings in Vinyasa yoga, Hatha yoga, and philosophical study. She facilitated in yoga studios in Adelaide under the guidance of incredible senior teachers with Power Living Adelaide, did study and internship in teacher trainings in Bali, before moving her offering to the Hills, sharing yoga with the local community.
"Yoga philosophy has helped shape the way I see the world and the interconnectedness between all things. Practice has supported me through pregnancy and motherhood, and now I see practice as an opportunity to become deeply embodied, moving with intuition and self compassion, to find the balance of strength and transformation, with softness and surrender, and remember my connection with the earth and all things in it"

James Erskine
James has practiced yoga for 20 years, with his journey beginning in Ashtanga yoga. James is an initiate of the Kriya Yoga Australia lineage, and in 2019 completed studies and teacher training in traditional Hatha Yoga.
His offerings are an extension of his daily yoga ritual, exploring posture, breathing technique, meditation and mantra. James's classes are deeply restorative and inwardly focussed, nurturing practitioners with space to stretch, strengthen and relax the body, quiet the mind and cultivate inner peace.
