The ancient Indian spiritual sciences of Yoga, Tantra and Ayurveda are our anchor point for life on the farm. Through study with our teacher, Pandit Rajmani Tigunait of the Himalayan Institute we continue to learn how to thrive in daily life. These teachings offer a complete life practice and worldview that seeks to bring us closer to the truest essence of our self as an individual, and our Self as a part of the universal collective. By turning mind inwards, awakening energy, and aligning ourselves to the rhythms of nature, we can live a more holistic and sacred life. Through practice we endeavour to expand beyond our personal limitations and evolve our consciousness, becoming a vessel for deep compassion so that we may be of greatest service to nature and humanity.
We offer yoga to our community through:
Sunday Sadhana ~ Once monthly workshops in Traditional Hatha Yoga. These small classes are held in our farm studio. We explore traditional teachings and philosophy, and you experience in depth practices of Tantric Hatha Yoga and Meditation.
Hatha Yoga At Forest Range ~ Weekly yoga classes at our local community hall at Forest Range. Proceeds from these classes are paid forward. Wednesday nights with James. Thursday nights with Sophie.
Retreat ~ Seasonal day long retreats where you can dive deep into an experience of yoga and meditation, immersion in nature, home cooked organic food, contemplation and discussion, and connection to self and community.
